Residents Survey July 2020 - 78% of residents completed the survey, however some residents could not complete due to Covid 19 isolation.

SASH accommodation is provided for up to approximately 5 years, with the aim of giving you the time and space you require to:

  • Plan your future
  • Prepare for or rehabilitate to independent living
  • Take up new hobbies and leisure activities
  • Rehabilitate back to the work place
  • Re-train or return to education
  • Or just give you the time and space you need to re-build your confidence to enable you to lead an independent and fulfilling life in the community

We currently have accommodation in Shrewsbury, Craven Arms and Bridgnorth, all of which are located within easy walking distance of town centres, close to all shops, amenities and transport services.

The accommodation consists of own room with en-suite, a shared kitchen, dining, lounge, garden and laundry facilities.

Your support package is discussed with you and would be arranged through your care co-ordinater which will be tailored to meet your individual needs. Reviews are held with you, your support provider and SASH staff to discuss progress and plan for the months ahead.

Your support provider is entirely your choice, so there may not be any need for you to change.

Health and Safety is very important to us.

We check our fire alarms regularly and carry out fire drills with residents. A Fire Risk Assessment (FRA) has been carried out at each property.

All electrical appliances are tested annually.

Gas boilers and heating systems are serviced annually.

Our properties have all been surveyed for Asbestos, with records available at each property.

We have a number of contractors available to carry out repairs when required.
